<p>The <code>real</code> type refers to a number with decimal point, e.g. 1.2 or -29.8.</p>
<p>Example:</p>
<pre class="qml"><span class="type">Item</span> { <span class="name">width</span>: <span class="number">100.45</span>; <span class="name">height</span>: <span class="number">150.82</span> }</pre>
<p><b>Note:</b> In QML all reals are stored in double precision, <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/IEEE_754">IEEE floating point</a> format.</p>
<p>This basic type is provided by the QML language.</p>
