Printing to AppleTalk Printers</a></h1>
<p>The <a href="appletalk.htm">netatalk</a> package comes with
the <b class="APPLICATION">pap</b> program that can be used to
transfer jobs using the AppleTalk protocol. A printcap entry
for a network printer looks like the following:</p>

<p>The <tt class="LITERAL">-$</tt> suppress the addition of
extra parameters to the <b class="APPLICATION">pap</b> command
line. The <b class="APPLICATION">pap</b> program must be SETUID
root and executable only by root or group <tt class=
"LITERAL">daemon</tt>. This can be done by using the following
