<em>XTrkCad</em> is shipped as a self-installing self-expanding program (executable).

Using Windows Explorer, locate the directory in which you downloaded or copied your new version of <em>XTrkCad</em>.

Start the installation program by double clicking on <strong>xtc402.exe</strong> file icon.

Follow the steps in the installation program.

The installation lets you define the directory in which <em>XTrkCad</em> is installed. The directory is created automatically if it doesn't already exist.

A program folder named <code>XTrkCad4</code> will be created during the installation process. The folder contains the program, documentation, parameter and example files.
