The NewbieDOC articles are all available under a Free license. Most are
available under the GNU Free Documentation License, Version 1.2 or any
later version published by the Free Software Foundation; with no
Invariant Sections, with no Front-Cover Texts, and with no Back-Cover
Texts. Some are available under the GNU GPL and some are dual licensed.
Dual licensing is generally specified when an author wishes to include
the material in another project which does not accept the GNU FDL (eg the
Debian Reference manual).
The images are all available under Free licenses. They are variously
available under the GNU Free Documentation License
(http://www.gnu.org/copyleft/fdl.html) and the GNU GPL
(http://www.gnu.org/copyleft/gpl.html). Sometimes they are dual licensed
with other licenses. Each image is linked to an information page on the
NewbieDOC wiki which includes details of the license(s).
The scripts are all available under the GNU GPL.
