The default web browser for <span>Kubuntu</span> is <span class="application">rekonq</span>.

There are many different types of web browsers located in the Ubuntu
repositories. From text-based browsers to the famous
<span class="application">Firefox</span> and <span class="application">Opera</span>
browsers, <span>Kubuntu</span> has browsing covered.

Bookmarks can be imported from Internet Explorer, Opera, Mozilla, Netscape,
KDE2/KDE3, Galeon, as well as All Crash Session bookmarks by selecting the
corresponding choice in the <span xmlns:doc="http://nwalsh.com/xsl/documentation/1.0" class="guiitem"><span class="guilabel">Import</span></span> menu.

Select the import option that best suits the situation and then close the
<span class="application">Bookmark Editor</span>.

by default on a <span>Kubuntu</span> system. Please follow the directions below to install

<span xmlns:doc="http://nwalsh.com/xsl/documentation/1.0" class="guiitem"><span class="guimenuitem">Import HTML...</span></span> from the drop-down menu.

Next, if there is another browser installed such as
<span class="application">Opera</span>, bookmarks can be imported from there. If
not, select <span xmlns:doc="http://nwalsh.com/xsl/documentation/1.0" class="guiitem"><span class="guilabel">From an HTML file</span></span>, and press the
<span xmlns:doc="http://nwalsh.com/xsl/documentation/1.0" class="guiitem"><span class="guibutton">Next</span></span> button.

Select the location of your bookmarks <acronym class="acronym">HTML</acronym> file and then
press the <span xmlns:doc="http://nwalsh.com/xsl/documentation/1.0" class="guiitem"><span class="guibutton">Open</span></span> button.

If there are no error messages, then the import of the bookmarks was
successful.

Close the <span class="application">Bookmarks Manager</span> application.
