There are many free and open source graphics and image editing applications
available for <span>Kubuntu</span> such as <span class="application">GIMP</span>,
<span class="application">Blender</span>, <span class="application">InkScape</span>, and
more. These applications are not part of a default <span>Kubuntu</span> installation.
They can, however, be installed easily with the <span class="application">Muon</span> 
package manager, which can be started by going to <span xmlns:doc="http://nwalsh.com/xsl/documentation/1.0" class="guiitem"><span class="guimenu">Kickoff Application Launcher</span></span> &#8594; <span xmlns:doc="http://nwalsh.com/xsl/documentation/1.0" class="guiitem"><span class="guisubmenu">Computer</span></span> &#8594; <span xmlns:doc="http://nwalsh.com/xsl/documentation/1.0" class="guiitem"><span class="guimenuitem">Muon Software Center</span></span>. This topic is an 
introduction to common tasks in graphics editing applications, such as editing 
images, creating new images, saving your work, and so forth.
