<p>These options are available on many commands.

<dd><p>Override the author cert for a commit; normally, the author is the
local name of the key used for the commit. See

<code><a href="User-Defaults.html#get_005flocal_005fkey_005fname">get_local_key_name</a></code>.

<dd><p>Specify the branch for a command. This normally defaults to the
workspace branch.

workspace, the workspace is updated to the new head of the workspace
branch if the workspace was at a head, and the command makes a new
head of the workspace branch.
