<title>Langattoman verkon vianselvitys</title>
<subtitle>Verkkolaitteistoosi liittyvien tietojen kerääminen</subtitle>
<p>Tässä vaiheessa keräämme tietoja tietokoneen langattomasta verkkolaitteesta. Lähes kaikkiin korjausmenetelmiin tarvitaan tarkat tiedot laitteesta, joten niiden kerääminen on tärkeää. Myös joistain tietokoneen mukana tulleesta oheismateriaalista kuten ajurien asennuslevyistä voi olla apua. Yritä kerätä nämä tiedot ja asiat:</p>

<p>Langattomien laitteidesi pakkaukset ja ohjekirjat (varsinkin reitittimen ohjekirja)</p>

<p>Ajurilevy - vaikka se sisältäisikin vain Windows-ajurit</p>

<p>The manufacturers and model numbers of your computer, wireless adapter
and router. This information can usually be found on the
underside or reverse of the device.</p>

<item>
<p>Any version or revision numbers that may be printed on your wireless
network devices or their packaging. These can be especially helpful, so
look carefully.</p>

<item>
<p>Anything on the driver disc that identifies either the device itself,
its “firmware” version, or the components (chipset) it uses.</p>

<p>Yritä luoda verkkoyhteys jollakin muulla tavalla, niin voit tarvittaessa ladata ohjelmistoja ja ajureita verkosta. (Yksi tapa saada toimiva verkkoyhteys on kytkeä tietokone reitittimeen Ethernet-kaapelin avulla ja käyttää tätä yhteyttä tarvittaessa.)</p>
