<title>Uusi iPodini ei toimi</title>
<p>If you have a new iPod that has never been connected to a computer before, it won’t be recognized properly when you connect it to a Linux computer. This is because iPods need to be set up and updated using the <app>iTunes</app> software, which only runs on Windows and Mac OS.</p>
<p>Aktivoi iPodisi asentamalla ensin iTunes Windowsiin tai Mac-tietokoneeseen ja liitä iPod tietokoneeseen. Noudata iTunesin ohjeita aktivoimisessa. Kun aktivointiohjelma kysyy <gui>Alustusmuoto</gui>a, valitse <gui>MS-DOS (FAT)</gui>, <gui>Windows</gui> tai jokin muu vastaava. Muut muodot (HFS/Mac) eivät toimi kunnolla Linuxissa.</p>
<p>Kun aktivointi on suoritettu, iPod toimii normaalisti kytkiessäsi sen Linux-tietokoneeseen.</p>
