part of the <a class="ulink" href="http://www.gnu.org" target="_top">GNU Project</a>. Check <a class="xref" href="online-resources.html" title="Online resources">the section called “Online resources”</a> for info on mailinglists and where to get the
latest version of Solfege.</p><p>One of the ideas of this program is that you can extend the
program without having to dig into the source code. If you for example
want to practise some special chords, you can write a <a class="link" href="extending-solfege.html" title="Chapter 4. Extending GNU Solfege">lesson file</a> yourself. Reading the
files are pretty straight forward, and the recommended way to get
started is to copy one of the existing files, and start modifying it.
If you create good lesson files, you really should consider contributing
them by sending them to the <a class="link" href="online-resources.html#mailing-lists" title="Mailing lists">mailing list</a> so they can be added to the
next version of this program.</p></div></div><div class="navfooter"><hr><table width="100%" summary="Navigation footer"><tr><td width="40%" align="left"><a accesskey="p" href="index.html">Prev</a> </td><td width="20%" align="center"> </td><td width="40%" align="right"> <a accesskey="n" href="bug-reporting.html">Next</a></td></tr><tr><td width="40%" align="left" valign="top"><span class="application">GNU Solfege</span> 3.20.6 User Manual </td><td width="20%" align="center"><a accesskey="h" href="index.html">Home</a></td><td width="40%" align="right" valign="top"> Bugs</td></tr></table></div></body></html>
