    <p>A ferramenta de busca pódelle axudar a atopar secuencias de texto específicas nos seus ficheiros.</p>

        <p>Open the <gui>search window</gui> by clicking 
        <guiseq><gui style="menu">Menu Button</gui>
        <gui style="menuitem">Find…</gui> </guiseq> or
        pressing <keyseq><key>Ctrl</key><key>F</key></keyseq>. This will move
        your cursor to the start of the <gui>search window</gui>.</p>

        <p>Escriba o texto que quere buscar na <gui>xanela de busca</gui>.</p>
      </item>
      <item>
        <p>A medida que escribe, <app>gedit</app> comezará a resaltar os fragmentos de texto que coinciden co que escribiu.</p>

    <p>Para desprazarse polos resultados da busca, realice calquera dos seguintes pasos:</p>

        <p>Press the <key>up arrow</key> or <key>down arrow</key> keys on your
        keyboard.</p>

        <p>Press <keyseq><key>Ctrl</key><key>G</key></keyseq> or
        <keyseq><key>Ctrl</key><key>Shift</key><key>G</key></keyseq>.</p>

        <p>Prema <key>Ctrl</key> e use o <key>deslizador</key> do seu rato ou área táctil para moverse cara arriba ou cara abaixo polo texto</p>

  <p>Para prechar a <gui>xanela de busca</gui> prema <key>Esc</key> ou <key>Intro</key>. Ao pulsar <key>Esc</key> o cursor volverá á posición onde estaba antes de comezar a busca. Ao premer <key>Intro</key> o cursor volverá á posición actual nos resultados da busca.</p>

      <p>Se resalta un fragmento de texto co rato e preme <keyseq><key>Ctrl</key><key>F</key></keyseq>, o texto que resaltou aparecerá na xanela de busca.</p>

      or right-click anywhere in the search window. You can select one or more
      of the following search options:</p>

          <p>Select <gui>Match Entire Word Only</gui> to search only complete
          words.</p>

          <p>Select <gui>Wrap Around</gui> to search text from top to bottom
          and cycle back again.</p>

      <p>O texto que buscou permanecerá realzado en gedit, aínda que rematara a busca. Para quitar o resaltado, prema <guiseq><gui>Buscar</gui><gui>Quitar realzado</gui></guiseq>, ou prema <keyseq><key>Ctrl</key><key>Maiús</key><key>K</key></keyseq>.</p>
