  <title>Substituír texto</title>

  <p>Editar texto pode consumir moito tempo. Para aforrar tempo <app>gedit</app> inclúe unha función <app>Substituír</app> que lle axudará a buscar e substituír partes do texto.</p>

      <p>Open the <gui>Replace</gui> tool by clicking
      <guiseq><gui style="button">Menu button</gui><gui style="menuitem">Find 
      and Replace…</gui></guiseq> or press
      <keyseq><key>Ctrl</key><key>H</key></keyseq>.</p>

      <p>Enter the text that you wish to replace into the <gui>Search
      for:</gui> field.</p>
    </item>

      <p>Enter the new, replacement text into the <gui>Replace with:</gui>
      field.</p>

      <p>Once you have entered the original and replacement text, you can add
      extra parameters to the search. You can also choose what you want to
      replace:</p>

  <p>If you wish, you can add some extra parameters to your search:</p>

  <terms>
    <item>
      <title>Coincidir con capitalización</title>
      <p>A función <em>Diferenciar maiúsculas de minúsculas</em> permítelle especificar se quere que a súa busca sexa sensíbel a maiúsculas/minúsculas. Se se selecciona esta opción, as buscas serán sensíbeis a maiúsculas/minúsculas. Do contrario non o serán.</p>

      <title>Coincidir só coa palabra completa</title>
      <p>Use esta opción para buscar unha palabra específica sen incluír partes de outras palabras. Por exemplo, se buscou o termo «por» coa opción seleccionada, atoparase a palabra «por» pero non así as palabras <em>por</em>tal, <em>por</em>que e estu<em>por</em>.</p>

      <title>Buscar cara atrás</title>
      <p>Esta orde compórtase de forma idéntica á orde Buscar anterior. Seleccione esta opción se quere pasar a través dos resultados da busca desde o final ao principio.</p>

      <title>Axustar aproximadamente</title>
      <p>Coa opción <app>Axustar axeitadamente</app> activada, <app>gedit</app> reiniciará a acción de buscar/substituír na parte superior do ficheiro, despois de chegar ao final. Isto asegúralle que a súa acción de buscar/substituír realízase en todo o ficheiro.</p>

  <title>Using escape sequences</title>

  <p>You can use <em>escape sequences</em> to search for line breaks, carriage
  returns, and tabs.</p>

  <p>If you actually want to search for a <output>\</output> (backslash) or one
  of the escape sequences in the text, you need to escape the backslash with an
  extra backslash. For example, to search for <input>\</input>, you need to
  enter <input>\\</input> into the search or replace field. You can search for
  escape sequences in the same way: to search for or replace with a
  <input>\n</input>, use the <input>\\n</input> term.</p>
